base z.which HID kit to use?
I own a base z and am sorry that i do not have xenon light on my db 350. I think blue shaded headlights would look great. What HID kits are out there that other base owners have used that are good and where do i get them and what should i expect to pay.

I wouldn't use mr. jung. The bulbs he uses are cheap and have a history of changing color.
I would use phillips bulbs and ballasts - I've had these on for months with no problems.
check out xenontechnologies.com
err... just checked out thier site and they don't make them any more due to the new regulations. better check ebay.

WHAT TO DO!!!
OK - I think I have to jump on this upgrade and do it now, while I can still find them. Question is: If I buy the H7 conversion kit, and later on a bulb burns out, will I still be able to find replacement bulbs?
Or will I just be able to get, say an Audi stock H7 HID bulb and stick it in?
Respond QUICKLY!!!

only advise I can give is make sure you get a quality kit so you don't have to worry about the bulb burning out.
as far as I know, there aren't any stock HID bulbs in H7 size. All HID bulbs are DS2 or DS2R or something completely different. HID kits use bulbs rebased onto halogen base sizes.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY OF THAT EXPENCIVE JUNK!!
I payed $450 about a year ago to get 6000k's for my base Z on ebay. It was a random korean brand and they look great. The point is now you can get the same kits for $300 on ebay, and they look great. Just get the correct bulb size, and pic the color (teperature "k" you want) and thats it. I highly reccomend saving a few hundred by buying on ebay.
