No "pop trunk" button in Z?
I have an 08 Z and I can't seem to find a button in the car that opens the trunk. I have to turn off the car, remove the keys, and hit the button on the keys everytime i want to open my trunk.
Is it supposed to be like this? Or is there some hidden trunk button somewhere?

Yes, it is hidden quite well apparently.
Your '08 Z should've came with a '08 owner's manual. In case you can't find it, it's located in the glove compartment. In case you can't find that, it's behind the passenger seat.

On a funnier side, people with stuff in their truck who have their car broken into almost never get the stuff in the trunk stolen. Seems the robbers can't find the button either.
I am also guilty of not being able to find that button.

The dealer I bought my car from (used) showed me that button above the license plate. The reason there isn't a button inside, is if you leave the car with a valet service, or if you park it with the top down no one can get in the trunk (unless you give the valet service the regular key and clicker). Valet mode doesn't allow the trunk to open. My barber asked my why I lock my roadster with the top down and I replied it locks the trunk.
