Default No "pop trunk" button in Z?

I have an 08 Z and I can't seem to find a button in the car that opens the trunk. I have to turn off the car, remove the keys, and hit the button on the keys everytime i want to open my trunk.

Is it supposed to be like this? Or is there some hidden trunk button somewhere?

Below the trunk, above the license plate. Look for a button.

Try searching for things, a lot of new quetsions to you have been asked numerous times before.

Yes, it is hidden quite well apparently.

Your '08 Z should've came with a '08 owner's manual. In case you can't find it, it's located in the glove compartment. In case you can't find that, it's behind the passenger seat.

There is a button right above the license plate on the underside of the rear side. There is also an emergency pull tab under the strut bar.

Also, as long as the car is unlocked the trunk release button will work from the outside - doesn't matter if the car is running or not.

On a funnier side, people with stuff in their truck who have their car broken into almost never get the stuff in the trunk stolen. Seems the robbers can't find the button either.

I am also guilty of not being able to find that button.

Valet mode doesn't allow the trunk to open. My barber asked my why I lock my roadster with the top down and I replied it locks the trunk.
That would be a very nice mod to have, I assume its a simple "push" style switch.

I didn't know where mine was until after I bought it. I just assumed it had a lever like every other car.
