Default lic plate light short circuit help

hey guys i recent install the lic plate light...when i put the first light bulb in it worked fine and when i put the second one in, i think i short the circuit. now not only the lic plate light won't work but also the tail light (brake light and back up light are perfectly fine) guys please help me out here...also checked the fuse box...everything is fine...any idea why?

i ran into the same problem but my rear tail lights shorted out too, so a friend of mine traced it and found that there are a series of inline fuses. he just hard wired my rear tail lights and lp plate lights to my parking lights. a tech at nissan told me that the in lined fuses a ***** to track down and the labor that you have to pay is a b_tch. he said if that hard wiring worked then leave it alone. thats my best advise
