Default My new JOY stick!

I picked it up on eBay from a guy named Yoshi, his email is yoshiki113@rogers.com. Ordered it, and it arrived in less than a week!

It was one-and-a-quarter plus nine for shipping. He is out of Canada.

Nice. For the price (considering it's a deal), I would presume it was the titanium shifter.

Ouch. You'll REALLY burn your hand with that one if you're not careful! But it looks sweet.

did you remove the stock shifter yourself, or take it to the shop? If you did it yourself, how did you do it?

It is a titanium and it radiates the heat very rapidly. It is about 95 degrees right now and the shifter is only marginally warm. Once the a/c is on that thing cools off real fast.

Yes, I did the install myself but, that is a whole other story!

Yea, that stock shifter is a pain to get off.

Better bring some elbow grease.

$40!!! Its not that hard really. Its all leverage. Wrap the base of the shifter with a rag. I used some wide mouth vice grips. Set the tension just hard enough that when clamped it doesn't damage the shifter, and rotate. Voila..

Default oh I forgot.

Hey insaneamine. Did your shifter come with a nice rubber grommet spacer to go in between the shifter and boot? If so it doesn't look like it was used in the pics. Mine didn't and OC_350Z got the nismo carbon one and his did It makes it look and feel a little cleaner, but I guess I can make one.
