Just like the title sais, any on here have a 2006 Z with 07-08 hood on their car. Specifically im looking for pics of the Lemanst Sunset color. I just recently got in a wreck and my hood go damaged and i need a new hood and i figured why not throw on a 07-08 hood.

 

Why do you think this would look any different than an 07 Z? It's the same car with a bump in the hood!

 

well i personally like the 07 hood better than my 06 hood that i had on there. SO why not just upgrade when the insurance is paying for the damage.

 

why not buy an aftermarket one?

I don't believe it's an exact fit for what you want to do, someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

 

cuz the insurance wont cover a aftermarket hood unless i pay the difference and quite honestly i dont feel like payin a difference. I think the hood bolts on directly its nothing different beside the hump in the middle cuz of the HR motor.

The '07-'08 hoods will fit on '03-'06. However, '03-'06 hoods won't fit on '07-'08.

check on ur estimate and see how much they are paying for ur hood replacement cause sometimes the aftermarket is cheaper thats what i did on my car.............. i got 650 for my original hood and i bought a carbon fiber for 550 and the bodyshop re-inbursed me the the money just make sure u tell them before they order any parts

 

I think I like the 07+ hoods better. The hump seems to flow better with the rest of the car.

 

Go ahead and get the 07+ hood but it really doesn't have practical use on your 350z besides coving up the engine bay since you don't have the HR motor.

dont listen to anybody, u go and get ur 07/08 hood, tht shizznit is dope like a muhg... i personally love the hood, i think it jus makes the car look better, no matter wut, u wont go wrong with anything unless u decide to get a hoodscoop.

yeah 06 was the last year of Lemans sunset, means if he wants a 07-08 hood he will need to get it painted

 

The thing is, the car needs a new hood anyway, so my shop is gonna order me a new one to begin with. This is why i want a 07 hood.
