Sorry guys, I searched for an hour and couldnt find the info I was looking for so here we go.

I have the APS Tallboy plenum with the tall boy strut bar, I need to know what cf hoods people have tried that will fit with this plenum. Mainly concerned about the Asuka hood and other vented style hood.

Im not sure, but maybe the asuka type 1.. Thats what i have..

 

does the OEM hood fit?

 

yes...but for example the siebon ts hood does not.

 

so you have the tall boy and the asuka 1 w/ no problems? if so this will help a lot!

Dar- you have the Asuka Type 2.

I've found that the make generally doesn't play into the factor of clearing a plenum or in some cases a strut bar. I've had Asuka, Seibon, Vis, Varis, etc all not clear certain strut bars or plenums but others will.

It's really a hit or miss. Worse case scenario is that you will have to dremel the under skeleton of the hood where it hits.
