It depends on what part of the IP you're replacing. On the Nissan Sport 350Z project car, we swapped the entire '06-08 waterfall section and center console. Parts of the interior, both seats and the entire carpet were swapped as well. You cannot swap the three gauge steering wheel pod without changing odometers, so that was out. Parts of the interior wiring had to be swapped as well. You can get more details at:

Just PM'd you with the answer, but let's share the info here. Nissan redesigned the entire center stack and console as one unit. If swapping they are NOT interchangable from '03-05 to '06-08. They fit together with the side sections that have bigger knee pads and must be replaced as a unit.
