That's because you hit the plastic scraper behind the lip. Look underneath your car about 6 inches inward, and you'll see a plastic line that hangs below the car - that's what you scraped.

I'm not the best, but I really did try all avenues of approach, but I just couldn't do it... there's no getting away with it except for parking my car on the 1st floor :P here's how they set the damn thing, and it's not just a little bump but a HUGE one... that going sideways trick just NOT working...

Oh my.
That lip did NOT look good at all.
You did a DAMN good job working on it.
I can't possibly understand why a lip like that would leave the warehouse and even moreso, I can't believe it wasn't returned.
I have no idea how that middle part got like that. It doesn't make sense.
I have NEVER seen a VeilSide lip in that condition.
Also, it must be VERY old. I've never even seen a carbon one with the raised letters.

sorry for the late reply but I used a combination of bondo filler and bondo CF jelly (I was kinda experimenting, which works best). I filled the hole first with the CF jelly then sanded it down, then I applied the body filler on top of that to make it super smooth.
The jelly is more sturdier when applied and but are more tougher to sand, opposed to the body filler which is very easy to apply, but semi-sturdy when cured but very easy to sand...
I had some issues on the fine cracks after painting it with primer. I should've used the LIQUID resin to fill/seal the cracks from the back of the lip to avoid the paint from separating/sipping through the cracks. But I'm a persistent S.O.B. who refused to FAIL over some hairline cracks . I sanded in between primer coating with an 800grit and fortunately sealed the damned thing on the 4th and 5th coats.
