hey guys, i'm new to the 350z. had it about 3 weeks now. my question is, how can i tell if mine has the h.i.d. lighting? it's a 2004 touring with auto transmission. thanks.

 

yes you have h.i.d. since your car has the touring package.

Turn your lights on and get out and look at them. Do they appear to be high intensity? Lol.

All HID systems will have a ballast wired into the lights, you can look for that and look at the bulb itself as HID bulbs are different from standard bulbs.

 

Your stock hids will have a white light, and the halogens will be yellow, unless you have some sort of silverstars or hyperwhite lights replaced. It's not hard to tell especially when the hids warm up from first turning on.

 

my lights are white, they are definitely h.i.d. thanks everyone for your answers.

 

everything 2006-2008 has bi xenon hids.
all 2003-2005 with cruise control on the steering wheel has low beam hids. high beams are still halogen.
