Default Is a short hub needed

Purchased an aftermarket wheel and NRG v2 quick release. Also I purchased a momo stardard size hub. Do I need to get a short hub or will the stardard momo hub do the job. Is it going to stick out too much with that hub. If not then im going to pick up a NRG short hub to stay with the theme. Also if I pick up the NRG short hub I want to make sure that it is plug and play with no modifications needed. Does anyone have one, and how do you like it? Pics

typically standard length hubs will make the steering wheel at normal length (distance) as oem wheel.

shorty hubs are used with Q/R and/or tilt steering wheel mounts.

Most people have problems with the Momo hub adapters.

Bell works hub is the way to go. Here is a pic of my Momo wheel, Bell Works short hub and NRG V2 QR.

My wheel is about 1" closer than stock.

How close your wheel will be depends on, your wheel dish, as well as what hub (short or long) and your QR (reg. or thin) if you use one.

momo hubs suck,I had one on my 240sx and some how the inside of the hub where the stick thingy goes for the steering wheel grinded the little teeth off,so here I am on the highway going into a turn when I slightly start turning my steering wheel but the cars not turning, so I really turn the steering wheel to the left and it just spins freely,so im on the freeway with no steering imput and i panic and slam on the brakes and the car slid of the shoulder, since then i vowed never to get another a/m steering wheel again

I found this online regarding a NRG short hub compared to a WORKS BELL short hub.

The works bell hub that i've seen has very thin metal walls as well as the middle hub spline looks like cheap metal. I've seen the NRG hubs and they are very nice quality hubs very thick especially where the teeth are
