well somewhere in the mix i fell in love with CF and the fact that it doesnt need to be painted (money saver)
i have the oem CF wing right now...and i might switch to the CF nismo if i find the base in CF
i guess the price of the veilside plus the thought of having to paint it turned me off
plus the fact that the people i bought the oem wing from are in my area so i dont pay shipping
dont get me wrong..i still love veilside (and i ordered the CF/frp underwings) (coming tuesday)
but right now i need tape
what did you finally decide toykilla

i am going with the veilside v2 spoiler.. actually i may end up doing the whole v2 kit, but for money reasons i am doing just the spoiler for now... the thing that really hooked me was the rear v2 bumper.. it is just a really clean design.. i like how it almost wraps around the exhaust but maintains really clean lines..
the front bumper the more i look at it .. the more acceptable it becomes.. i think all the pics of it are in a fisheye camera lense which makes it look distorted.. the side view is sweet though..

3M has a new variety of double-sided tape called Acrylic Plus. Check the 3M site: http://products3.3m.com/catalog/us/e...er/output_html
I would also recommend using the adhesion promoter.....makes the tape hold that much stronger.

3m adhesion promotor is some seriosu stuff...i used that on the Bpillar to put on the CF b pillar cover
that thing will never ever come off
i dont think it is safe to put adhesion promotor on something that will touch the paint
i mean you can put it on the wing part ..but then i will still have the same problem
no?>

I would rather take the chance of harming the paint under my new body part than risk having the part come off and maybe do some serious damage to my car! Ask your 3M representative.
