Hey everyone, just got the Z, 2006 6mt base PPW - great shape. I will be posting pictures as soon as I can get her all "purtied" up.

Quick question, was searching for the install on the homelink mirror and was wondering if there are any special adapters that come with the $150 kit, or really could you use any homelink mirror and then just tap the wires in the same way?

Are there any other cars that use the same mounting tabs as ours for the mirror?

Hey thanks...I saw that and was just thinking... gotta be someone who just sells the connector onto the mirror (not harness) or just solder some wires, a little heat shrink. Good to go.

The rest just seems like a couple spliced wires - so totally universal.

 

having 07 base, its a really good mod and one of my first once too.
i have taken the mirror out of the pathfinder, i believe theres 5 wires, i believe purple and black connect togeather and go for ground, and the rest are tied in with the power from 12v outlet.
I have ran the wires though the roof (front part of the car) and connected it to the cig lighter where normal glovebox should be in the car. Sorry i have done this in the summer and i tottaly forgot everything by now, but just some tips on how to install it.
