What other prep do i need to paint bondo

im painting my kick panels soon. i glassed in some pods and bondo'd over that. sanded with 80 then 150 grit till it was smooth. any other prep i need?

Filler primer is used for smoothing the surface even more, so only use that if you don't think they are smooth enough yet.
If you don't want to go cheap on it, you'll want to epoxy primer (which will seal underneath), then use your filler primer since the epoxy won't be sandable. Then base and clear coat.

While that is true of fiberglass, sealer will help assure that you do not have any chemical reactions between the paint and anything underneath the epoxy. A good habit to get in to if you ever go into restoring (I have a '66 mustang GT)
