Default LED do-it-myself, at day and night

These threads are a dime a dozen, but here it goes again...

I searched far and wide to find an LED roughly matching a 6000K HID bulb color, this is what came of the front reflectors. I also tint painted the rear face of the sidemarkers, though it's pretty hard to tell from the pics.

I can't remember the exact resistance...they were 1/4 watt resistors from Newark.

You can use this link to figure out exactly what resistor you need.

The LEDs came from www.superbrightleds.com.

nice looks good I've done a set of taillights for my fd other friend want me to do their tails also.

Had to get a pwm to get that nice flicker effect like the caddy's

How did you open the 06+ reflectors?

edit: dang you are right down the road from me... you should SHOW me how you opened them =)

OP can correct me but from his pics it looks like he installed the LEDs by drilling holes behind each reflector, not by opening them up.

Yeah...I had all the supplies sitting collecting dust for 3 months before finally finding a weekend to myself. If I had the time it'd be fun to make this for a bunch of people...but without time it'd be anything but
