Racing harness?
what type of racing harness should i get for my 03 350z bolt on, or get the harness bar?

You check the requirements of the club that you are racing with. SCCA rules are pretty stiff. Non-SCCA clubs are more liberal.
Anything else is rice so just get something pretty.

im not with a racing club i just need to know if i should get bolt on or get the harness bar

here is a thought: if you are not going to do something right the first time, then how about you don't do it at all?
obvioulsy you want it to "look like a racer" so the brand will not matter. just hope you do not decide to actually try and use that stuff on the road. that could get messy in a real accident. good luck

What is wrong with using a harness bar on the open road? What is dangerous about it?

really the minimum correct way to do it is via the harness bar. A better way (for a track car) is via a rollbar/cage
