Let me start off by saying I am a CF *****, I love it so much I am on this site everyday looking for a good deal on CF parts. I am a cheap skate so I usually only buy from members but after searching forever for a specific part I decided to try out one of my350z vendors. After researching the posts I picked what I thought was the TOP vendor with feedback/sales and positive posts to buy some CF parts from before Xmas. I recieved the package and the CF was spider cracked so I returned it and all. It was confirmed delivered back on 1-13-09 via UPS. Now I understand it is not there fault it was cracked but my reason for posting is the lack of communication if any. Since 1-13 I have called the shop "not emailed or pmed but actually paid to call CA from FL" twice or more EVERY week and I have NEVER reciped a call back. Two weeks ago I got fed up and notified the local seller of the prblem and advised that I will post if nothing is done. Later that day I called the shop and I was told everything was in good order and they will ship in a day or so. Two weeks have gone by and I have called twice or more each week, everytime I am blown off saying the guy who handles this will call me back but NEVER does. To say the least I am at the end of my rope with this vendor and I need action NOW.
Do I:
1) Do nothing and continue calling and begging for some info?
2) Call them and ask them for a refund?
3) Call my credit card company and dispute the charges?
4) Post the name of the vendor to warn others how much they suck and how I was tossed aside like a ricer by the all powerfull vendor that everyone loves for some damn reason.
5) Combination of 1 - 4
Please advise what you would do, I dont want to Flame a big vendor but on the other hand if I wish I knew they where like this before I bought from them.

3 and 4
dont wait anymore, from reading your post it seems you have given them more than enough time. the longer you wait, the closer it gets to the 60 day time frame you have to dispute with your CC company, they know this and are probably stalling as much as possible so that in the end, they have control over all this.
after you dispute and get your money, let us know who this is so that people buying from this vendor are ready for this sort of thing and know that it could happen to them.

Most importantly just stay calm and try to be as understanding as possible. Its easy to get really worked up when a part you've ordered either hasn't arrived when you thought it would, or when there is complications with an order that need to be rectified. Be coherent with that fact that it really hasn't been that long, and that it very well may take another week or two for them to get the logistics taken care of to get you your new, undamaged part.
The real problem here, like most problems of this sort, is the communication aspect. You're not to be blamed for this, as you've certainly went above and beyond the original communication source (likely PM) and have attempted calling. For some reason this is a huge problem in this industry.
I'm not sure why, if I want anything else I can simply go online or go to a retail store and purchase it with no fuss. But in this field the tables are turned, and we THANK our vendors for giving us the opportunity to buy something. Never understood this aspect, but currently this is the way it is. I think a lot of the times the issue with the communication is that they don't currently have any good information for you, and rather than tell you bad news like "sorry man, but "X" company can't ship out another product "Y" for 2 weeks", they close the communication channel until that once "bad" news is "good" news. I think they get this feeling from the "important guy" that always has to have everything his way and gives them earful when they deliver that "bad" news and they want to prevent that from happening.
On the flip side, a good amount of us wouldn't necessarily take the "bad" news as really being bad. We just want to know whats going on, where we're at in the process. I think this is truly how you feel as well. You DON'T need this part right now, but you'd like to know where you stand with your purchase, and thats more than fair.
I believe I know what your situation is with this and I won't post anything up. I wouldn't suggest posting up their name or anything like that. Just be patient and you will get your parts in due time, and you wont burn any bridges in the process. With your CF addiction, this is a real concern Jeremy.

What is their Processing time for returned orders? It should say on their website. Regardless 13 business days (took 1 out for MLK) should be more than enough time to get your order shipped back to you....
i know exactly what vendor this is b/c i had the EXACT same problem. no communication whatsoever after my money was taken. it took me 3 and a half months to finally get a refund... so good luck man.

Honestly I am not upset about the parts not being shipped, I am just mad that I call them twice or more in CA and they allways put me on hold just to come back and tell me they will have to call me back. Most dont even ask for my number before hanging up and out of the 50 long distance calls I made to CA I have YET to get a call from CA.
