Oh and also; Do you think some Scotchguard Protector would be a good idea to use on this?

it wont hurt but not necessary at all....the fabric itself is very already water resistance....if you got stains, just use water with towel wipe and clean.

Hey Soni I saw your posts on the bimmer forum. Where can I get enough of this fabric to do my 350z plus maybe a few other bits and pieces? I got the impression you were selling it?

OK I found this post:http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=185836

Do I have to sign upto E90 to order? Anybody ordered from these guys? Also how many yards do we need to do the center part and maybe the door handle pieces etc..?

i got 2 yards and think its plenty... i think EuroDyne @ e90forum is pretty trustworthy over there, many satisfied members over there. You can buy through email as they posted their email over there. I seen enough pictures to make me a believer.

got this done few TODAY!! took a few days and lots of hours and time to get familiar to this cause its my first time. Turn out great!! Pics here. Enjoy.

FYI the 3 gauges pods are removable. Just took out the gauge itself, then pop the hood out with minimum force. Use Super 77 to glue it back.

The hardest part of this project is not the main dash, as many of you might think it is due to its large size and curve shape, but its the shifter piece where the HVAC located at.

Took me 3 trials to get it right. The curve going from the shifter button to the 3 holes HVAC is a PAIN IN THE BUTT!!!

The material itself its not SHINY at all, but due to my camera's flash. I'll take some pics in the day light next time.\

The fabric is a little too thick, making the door switch and LOCK/UNLOCK button on the door handle a little bit hard to press down/up, but everything is still operational. The HVAC ***** are a little hard to turn, compare to stock which is very easy to turn. To open the cubby hole, i have to push the button up, then push the top of the door inward so it can pop out. I really dont mind it since i dont use it often.

feels nice and smooth. If you get any stain or mark on it, you can clean it up with rubbing alcohol. I read from e90post.com forum that people had this for years and it had no sign of wear or fade from the sun and daily use. Hopefully mine will be the same too
