Default My Z has been a pain in the

Leg

I have a 2006 base 350z, I bought the car about 9 months ago, I’m a big boy 6’4 300lbs, I test drove the car for about 20 minutes and I have driven many others over the course of looking for a Z and I was comfortable. The drive home from the dealer was a 2 hour drive, after I drove it home I found the side of my left leg hurt where it rubs on the bolster, I got used to it after about a week and it did not seem to hurt as much. Now I’m noticing the pain again and I don’t want to deal with it, I noticed there is a metal bar that runs along the side of the seat where the cushion has warn away and I think that’s what my leg is pressing into. I’m just wondering is anyone else has had this problem and would the leather seats be any better? BTW I traded in a WRX for the Z and I absolutely loved those seats, if you know of any aftermarket ones like those that would fit the Z please let me know. Thanks

Move your foot to a different position, like on the dead petal.

lol at 300 lbs in the left seat of a Z you first need to uprade your front and rear shocks/struts on the drivers side of the vehicle. once the car sits level you'll notice your leg and body weight will shift to the center of the seat instead of it all being bolstered onto the side of the seat. try that and let us know

The Z is a Japanese car designed for Japanese bodies. The problem isn't the seats; the problem is you weigh 300 f-ing pounds. Either lose some weight, or buy something you fit in, like an Escalade.

Corbeau makes a bench seat? Cause there is No racing seat that fits a 300lb man. I am 6'2" 205lbs with 33in waist and the Z is a snug fit, I am in very good shape, so I dont know how you sat in the car and thought it was for you.

I really do hope you find a solution for your problem though.

Lastly 300lbs is not a big boy. 300lbs is a fat boy and you know it, don't lie to yourself, it makes matters worse. Sorry to be mean but thats how I feel about large people that deny it, or ugly people that think they are hot ****.

wow.. if the Z is a snug fit you may want to buy a working scale. my body fits fine and I'm morbidly obese

C'mon people, be nice he lives in GA, its BBQ not McDonalds... I am a big guy too, 5'9" 230 Lbs ... but i feel the bar he is referring to... you can prolly take your left leg and swing it left and bend the S*!t out of it and be good... I wouldnt, because that what keeps my *** planted in a tight turn

lol...my maxima is a 99 and its faster than my 04 Z...lol its a sports luxury car with a vq35!

but...there's something wrong with those Z seats..it could just be the cloth seats...ive sat in the leather seats and those were comfy!

they are the same seat with just different fabric covering them. i have cloth seats and drove 1300 miles several times in them and never had that problem maybe you need a chiropractor. as to your 99 maxima being faster than your z? well thats an obvious answer to that you definately have way more money invested in your max than your z because stock for stock the z is gonna blow all 4 doors off your max
