Oh by the way... did any of you install the stripe on top of the windshield? I had a stripe on my TL and it didnt seem so wide but since Z's windshield is so small... the stripe takes up almost half of the windshield.. it's HUGE

Well. When You said old tint I was thinking....well OLD tint. Stuff that needed to be removed but could be tinted over if you didn't care.

The strip on your windshield should only come down to the ^A^ mark on either side of the car windshield.

That looks nice Solo! I remember hearing of Formula One tint when I tinted my TL but it was too expensive.. my quote for Formula One was around $340 I think.

I gotta check my car for that mark and I think I'll have to go back to the tinting place today... there are 4-5 half an inch wide thin bubbles on the strip... all of the other bubbles from the doors are gone.

Well there is a reason why it's expensive. It's quality tint with lifetime warranty. Never had it turn purple like the cheaper tints do. It also blocks a ton of heat which is nice.

btw, I love how our black tops make 18/30 (which are really 15/27, for those of you who don't know much about tint, whatever tint you get is actually 3-5% darker then it is rated) look really dark.

I think I have formula tint too, my friend hooked me up with a free tint job. I remember him telling me, it had a lifetime warranty and it was the best tint out there. It was like 70ish degrees here this past weekend in VA. Well when I got into my car inside the garage, it was so cool/cold inside. This tint looks really dark compared to its initial reading of 20%

just got 15% all around. the sides are dark enough for me but you can see right through the back at night when the lights are on. the back window has some bubbles in it so the guy at the shop said he'd do it over for me.... i think im going to change it to 5% for the back tho

id say go with the 15% thats what i got and it's pretty dark but not too dark i can still see pretty good at night, 3m is the best tint out there but lumar is right behind it both really good brands, i got lumar on mine and im pretty happy.
