Once to open up without paint, once to seal after painting, once again to open back up to fix fogging and cutoff issue, then one more time to reseal after that.
agreed.. i dont think the paint will have any issues.. although some ppl say it bubbles? idk maybe they baked it too long.. i did 250 for 8mins and it worked perfect..

I used a mini pry bar and wore gloves when I did mine. My fingers didn't hurt. Also, there is no need for wetting the cardboard. It just fogs up lenses.
Did you paint gloss or satin? Trying to decide what finish I want to go with.
Looks great
Ur lucky im responding...i haven't been here(logged on) in years. My z got totaled by a 17 year old that didn't stop... So I dont come on here any more. Its ok tho I have a widebody rx7 now. But anyways...
ya I glossed them. But depending on the color of your car they should both look great. I almost wish I did mine satin tho but the gloss paint matched so well on the gloss black body paint
What kind of flat / satin black paint are you all using to paint your 06+ headlight housings? And are you sanding the plastic before painting, or just spraying it on as-is?
looks sick! ive been wanting to do these to my 03 Z, however i was wondering if it ruins the lights brightness in anyway? i live in south texas where there is lots if deer and hog running across roads at night so my high beams are real useful.
BTW Great job! look great!
