Did you ever replace this? My cover looks like crap too...how on earth did it get all those scratches beats me. It's not like i keep my nails long, I'm guessing the seatbelt buckle somehow hits it when it retracts.....
I think it just pops out (mine's an 07) no screws but i am not sure. I've neen procrastinating in replacing mine.

Easy, on the 03-05s, there's a little screw in the little hole that acts as a door handle. It's covered by a rubber cap, once you pop off the rubber cap, you will see it. You just need a butter knife, or a flat head screw driver for the rest. It just takes a bit of pulling and pushing it will come off. If I remember correctly you'd have to remove the arm rest also, because the arm rest may have a snap that holds the window switch down. Just be patient when you're pulling it off, pull with constant pressure and pop it out of the snaps one at a time.
There's plenty of DIY threads that shows how to remove the entire door panels with picures.... try searching next time.

instead of buying new parts, try this first.

Get a can of Dupli-Color Vinyl and Fabric, Flat Black and hit it with that. If you are unhappy, only out $6 or so.

I did mine, came out pretty good. There is a bit more light reflection off the surface and the color match with the vinyl arm rest area is not exact but, I don't even notice anymore.
