Default Seat cushion help please

I own a 2005 Grand touring roadster with leather seats and as much as I love the car I hate the drivers seat. There is some sort of metal plate near the power buttons on the right side which telegraph up through the seat and causes a great deal of discomfort on my right leg after a half hour of driving or so. The passenger seat is fine. Does anyone else have this problem and what have you found to be the solution? I bought a seat cushion at adap but it looks crappy. Thanks in advance.

You should replace them with the puffy cushions. Work owns me so I can't post pics of said item. Fail. On another note; Upgrade to after market (if that's your thing)

May I ask where you can buy said "puffy cushions".
BTW I spent a lot of time in Oceanside when I was in the Marines at camp Pendleton.

oh trust me you don't want puffy cushions. I'm stationed in Pendleton at the air station. Rahh!

The foam/padding in that area could have just worn down prematurely. Take it to an upholstry shop and have them look at it. Shouldn't be a big deal for them.

Probably the best idea, thanks.

After seeing those puffy cushions I drove like crazy to an upholstery shop, to have my seat looked at. The owner thought that there was a definite problem but will not know what until he tears it apart. He quoted me a price of $75. for the fix. Thanks.

Same issue here, trying to find some sort of guide to taking the seat apart myself.
unemployed and back into school means i dont have the dough to hire someone to fix it.

thinking i may be able to just take the cover off and just add cushion.
