No, do not intend to. I think that would be a little too much for me.

I am looking at doing the little switches on the gauge cluster sides though.

Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric - Flat Black. Available at AutoZone and Pep Boys. I pulled the pieces out so they could be done without worrying about overspray.

I started a full procedure with pics and all then bailed. Too much work. Maybe I'll resurrect it.

like different. not better just different.

to me the silver trim makes it look "newer". because with the black trim it sort of looks like a 2002 350z.

I think it looks ok. To each their own. Good luck with the LED mod. I did it and it's not that hard. There is a lot of good info on that in the forums. One sugestion, take pics of where the needles are with the key in the run position (without starting the car). Oh, the original LEDs have 4 different posts (three negatives and one positive) if the ones you ordered don't match, don't sweat it. There is a way to get around that. If you need any advice, pm me or you can try Acree, he is the LED god. Good luck

Thanks. Last I heard Acree was not responding. Don't blame him, he posted a sh*tload of good info and I believe he was doing these mods for $$. One of his posts said he stopped doing them because he didn't have time.

I just finished my AC controls. I did the right angle LED's last night but one set wasn't lighting up. Those little right angle LED's were a challenge. I re-did the set that wasn't working and all good now.

I'm getting some more LED's from the ebay guy in exchange for my pics of the AC Controls board LED locations. I was tempted to use Acree's but that didn't seem right. I had mine all apart anyway, just took one pic and that was it.

I found out that the part number provided by Acree for the surface mount LED in his write up is now obsolete and not carried by most of the vendors I checked with. I found a local vendor but they said a minimum buy of 100 was required for them to order.

I found what appears to be a good replacement on digikey.com
Part number is LB T67C-P2R1-35-Z I ordered enough to do all my gauges but not sure I will use because I'm getting free ones from the ebay guy. Figure I will just return these and eat the shipping charges or see if someone here wants to buy.

Ends up, I'm going to use the ones I ordered from Digikey. I wasn't sure they would work but they look exactlly the same. Two of my original door LED's went bad (probably from using too much heat when soldering) and one of my AC push button LED's as well.

I replaced all 3 using the ones I got from Digikey, perfect match.

As far as the e-bay guy is concerned, I'm not going to send him anything. He wants the extra business for the AC controls, I'll let him do his own research.

looks good man, may have to do this myself

only thing that i think looks better not blacked out is the steering wheel, maybe if you went w/ a glossy black it'd match more with the glossy look of the leather of the steering wheel Either way, looking good!

Doesn't look good. If you did the parts in some kind of gloss or something to set it apart from the other pieces it might be alright.

You ruined the interior as far as I can see.

Other than that, great job.

Nice but too close to amber for me. I am wondering about daylight visibility, my new gauge faces are black / nuetral. Did you replace the gauge faces?

Also, did you do the buttons on the side of the steering wheel gauge cluster? They are not lit in the pic.

I'm having a hell of a time finding the LED for those spec'd in Acree's post.
