Default Question on Nismo v3

This may seem like a rather silly question, but will the nismo v3 body kit fit well onto an '05 350ZR? I only plan on installing the front bumper with the diffuser and the side skirts. I'll find a better rear bumper or lip to go with it.

And if it doesnt, how come? Is it due to a dimensions issue?

well, i was looking up some of the prices for the kit and i saw it listed for the 06-08 nissan. i just want to make sure that i can install it onto my car without it looking awkward and such.

and Gag83 yeah i havent finalized my decision on the v3, but i am seriously considering it. its either that or the chargespeed type 2.

no we havent specified that yet. my guess is that you can because most body kits are designed to fit all 350z's anyway. the dimensions should all be the same.

I have v3 install on my 05 zr here is my picture.. There will be a little gap in inner wheel well unless you change to 07 wheel well liner. You will also need 07 side bumper marker and the bottom diffuser to fill in the gap underneath the front bumper because the v3 bumper extend further out. Fitment is fine other than that . In my opinion I think the usdm side skirt flow better than the nismo z edition side. I am putting on usdm side this weekend.

just keep in mind the front diffuser is not part of the bumper, and is sold separately as are a bunch of accessory parts as mentioned above. By the time you're all said and done, it's a $1000+ bumper. 2003-2005 cars will also need the 2006 + fender liners

yeah i saw that on another site too. The nismo shop has it listed as a one piece, and it seems like ngocmy8888 hasnt had a problem with it.

ngocmy8888 nice pics thank you for the information!

The nismo shop does not have it listed as one piece all they have is the front bumper cover. If you read ngocmy8888s post, he has the diffuser - without it, the bumper has a large gap, noticeable gap

Here is the link for the front diffuser:http://www.thenismoshop.com/ikorb.ph...oduct_id=12959.
It cost about $400 and another $50 for the side marker.http://www.thenismoshop.com/ikorb.ph...oduct_id=12202

Unless you want to fabricate the bottom diffuser because without it your original stock diffuser will be flapping underneath your car. Here is a link you can diy:https://my350z.com/forum/body-interi...mo-bumper.html.
Z1performance is right just the v3 bumper would run 1000+. It might cheaper if you trade your z for the nismo z edition . I not too crazy about the nismo z rear though especially on a zr. Don't get me wrong the nismo v3 bumper drew a lot attention whenever I stopped at the traffic light and when I am at the gas station. By the way the nsmo bumper is lower than the stock zr bumper . Save yourself the headaches just get the nismo v2 front bumper.

fwiw the v2 is lower than stock too...though you're right, not as low as the V3. At the end of the day though, as long as you're careful, you'll be fine.

V2 is just sooooo common
