Leigh, can you gimme a review of the seats? Like how they feel in comparison to the factory seats. Do they feel too laid back? And how much did it cost to get the mounts and brackets custom made?

You say they pull forward? So I am assuming they can be adjusted to move up and down like stock?

Thanks,
Victor

this is a quick rundown cuz I gotta get back to my 2F2F movie. HaHA OK , I'll start off with me I'm 6'1" 205 so use that as a reference, the day I got the car I drove it about 150 miles with the stock seats they are comfortable they are adjustable they are heavy get hot after a while I felt like I had to keep changing my seating position. that night I put in the Roadsters, they are way more supportive but not tight and cramped, they dont squeeze you like some others, they dont recline but I dont change my seating position in any car, they feel like they were molded around a person your lower back doesnt get tired or cramped, your a$$ doesnt fall asleep. one of the best things for me was that my shoulders dont get tired the seat back holds them forward nicely. the sliders work well they are not spring loaded so you have to try a little to slide the seat but easy enough for my mom to do when she drove it., The first words she said when I let her drive it was "these seats are so comfortable they really hold you in there" then she proceded to bounce my car off the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift quite nicely I might add for a 50+ mom. back to the seats, they are not too laid back, but they are adjustable in the sidemounts to be however you want. the brackets from sparco are heavy as hell I found a guy that spent alot of money to custom make a set that sold his car he hooked me up for $200 I think he paid twice that to have them made. when they put the stereo in I'm gonna pull the brackets and get a quote to duplicate them and I'll see what I can do for anyone that needs them. I think the sliders and side mounts were about $200 for everything from Rod Millen. another big thing for me was that the stock seat material is junk everone I see is worn out. the roadsters have wear patched in the right spots not to get them messed up.
overall I am pleased with the seats over the stock ones, they look nice IMO and I feel like part of my car not bouncin around in the seat. on a side note I had a date get in the car the other night, she sat right on the side bolster which is hard and yelled ouch!! they are stiff seats. I hope this helps a little, if I you have more ???'s ask, I will do my best to help.

so the bottom of the mounts bolt right into factory holes?

you say they are more comfortable than stock, but do they hug/hold you better than stock?

thanks,
victor

Yes the seat base brackets not the side mounts bolt right into the stock holes, and they hug and hold 10x better that the stock ones

I think that procharger comment couldn't be more true, I had a dream last night that I just redirected my AC tube into the inlet pipe. I think it was that damn movie..

Really though I chose one sub because it will have 1500+ watts going through it and I thought that 3000 watts in a Z might be just a little overkill not to mention a rough load for our alternators, its bad enough I need 2 batteries as is! Also the sub is massive (Heavy) . another amp and another sub and a third Battery I may as well just strap a civic to my bumper the car would be so heavy.

do you still have your stock seats. if so, would you sell them and how much. they have the but warmers right. i have a g35 with no head room. i think it is because of the motor that moves the seat forward when you want to get in back. i think if i put in 350z seats, besides having more bolstering, i will gain a couple of inches of headroom. you can pm me
