Default BTW.........

I don't have the part number, but when my Nissan OEM rear spoiler came in @ the dealer, it had replacement struts to replace the stock ones - more heavy duty to support the extra weight. I know the OEM spoiler is smaller & lighter than some of the afermarket wings, but the new struts have worked great for me. I'm sure your local dealer can find out the part number.

Just a suggestion..........

Well, scratch my last comment. I took out the weight and didn't put the panel back on for a day because I was trying to figure out where a squeak was coming from. I traced it to one of the metal clips that hold that rear panel on. Anyone else have this??? It's soooooo annoying!!!

Anyway, I put the panel back on today and while the hatch now stays up instead of slamming on my head, I still have to pop it twice most of the time.

I may end up using those pads, but they look really stupid...oh well.
