been waiting two weeks... no hood. i was suppose to have it by last friday for a photoshoot last sunday.. that didnt quite work out. a week later still no hood. Cali to Texas.. how long?

 

Probably 4-7 days assuming it was shipped out quickly.

I got my CF hood in 4 days.

Who did you order from?

 

asked twice in two different pm's to send me a tracking number once the hood has shipped. neither time did he even acknowledge my request but did answer some of my other questions. I ordered early Friday, April 17. The guy said he didnt have a box to ship it in. Assured me that he would take it over to VIS and have them ship it in a box. PM'd the following Monday about the hood and said that he had dropped it off with VIS and that they would ship it asap so that I could have it by the end of the week. I have yet receive anything.

 

CA to FL took 7 days...so I would assume less then a week.

 

Vendor or member buy? I had my hood shipped to me in a few days..

What hood did you get?

If you bought it from Asuka ( I can't remember if that's the actual business name or it was something else, either way, you know who I'm talking about ), they lie their as$es off about shipping dates. When I ordered mine they lied to me for about 90 days. They kept saying that it would ship the next day or by friday and it never did. Once they finally shipped it, it only took 4 days to receive it.

 

made a phone call... shipped on the 28th, originally ordered on the 17th and was told it was in stock.... delivery date may 5th.

I think I know who it is, but i will leave it for OP to disclose the info to us. This is another example why I no longer purchase any CF parts from certain vendors i think that are questionable with their business practice or with unsatisfactory handling of the customer service issues. I've had too many experiences, which, completely turned me away from certain vendors on this forum........

 

I wish you the best. Sounds too familiar, I just had a huge ordeal with a vendor over a CF hatch. Had to fight tooth and nail to get a refund after waiting about 2 months for the hatch. If its the same guy I had an issue with the only thing I can recommend is to post his name, that got me results. Good luck on the hood!
