I have the JDM Foot Well Light kit, and was wondering if anyone has traslated the instructions fro Japanese into English.

The instructions seem fairly intuitive, but there are a few things that aren't apparent.

I followed the Japanese wiring diagram for those and it did not work on my Z.

It's white light, but the same kit.

I don't know why they don't call it "Underseat Lighting Kit".

Actually, the bulbs seem to have a removable amber covering.

The package says Nissan Lamp-Foot Well B6400-CD000

Holy old *** thread revival... I didn't even remember my posts on the first page, LoL..

Ok, just to clarify...there are in fact two kits. One it white light that comes from under the dash, directly above your feet when seated on the car. this is the kit the Michael (Skidazzle) referenced as being wired into the BMC that is reveresed in our stateside cars.

The second kit, is two white Led's with amber colored condoms that slip over them and fit inside a diffuser that attached under the seats directed forward at your achiles tendon. They are wired to a button that mounts whereever you like. I put mine in the inside of the glovebox and the under seat lighting comes on with my headlights, unless I turn them off with the button. Hope this helps.

Both kits are listed here (the only available source when I got mine), but can be had local now quite easily too. The one you want is 039-012-026.

I see if I can link a local source for it two. I posted a pic too in an ancient thread

Thanks for the information ColecatZ. Some of the old threads are very worthwhile.

This is the kit that I have, with the yellow "condoms" . Which wires under the center console did you tap into for power?
