Default finally a new hood! check it out

Thanks to all the help from Intense! I got my hood and hatch yesterday in two huge boxes. It only took 5 days from ordering for it to get to my door step. Packaging was great from seibon (double boxed and super well padded). Anyways, I just have some crappy cell phone teaser pics for now. I will get some HQ ones when i get the hatch on.

Seibon TS style hood in Satin finish

I would say fitment is 9/10. I had to drill the hinges to make room for adjustments. I still need to move it forward just a bit. Besides this minor modification, I think fitment is pretty good. I guess thats what I get for going seibon. I also have AAM test pipes and aerocatch hood latches on the way. I am just so happy to be back behind the wheel of my Z again after nearly two months!

I totally agree. If it weren't for my hood getting messed up in the first place i would have spent money on other things first. I got the hatch to match the hood. Next exterior mod will be wheels and new bumper. Before anymore exterior mods, I want to get exhaust. Thanks for the compliments.

I think it looks good, although I'm interested in seeing more pics when you get a chance, are you gonna paint it to match or leave it?

I am still deciding if I want to paint it or not. I thought about painting it and leaving the vents cf. I just want to wait until i put the hatch and wheels on to give me an idea of what its going to look like before i decide to paint.

I'm not sure if rain would be a problem. Everything seems to be covered. The air boxes are sealed. Would there be any other potential issues besides the engine bay getting filthy from dirty rain? I have my other car to drive in the snow.

Just don't park it outside when its raining. Or Cover the vents when it does.

Nice hood.

Curious to see your final look with the hatch and wheels...

I like the hood!! I think it will look great with some really aggressive wheels and a nice drop! Its an aggressive hood so to keep the look going an aggressive wheels setup is the only way to go if you ask me.

thanks for all the comments! I was thinking about either removing the mesh or painting them black. What do you guys think?
