Yea, Im wondering if i can pull it off tastefully. Some aftermarket silver rims look too light and dont match as well as the stock silver. A lot of the rims Im looking at dont come in gunmetal so I was wondering how black might look. Was anyone brave enough to try this on a silverstone?

I think black would look bad *** on silverstone.

A real dark charcoal color would look good too.

Gewalt Evo II is one wheel I know comes in black that I think would look great on silverstone. I havent seen anyone with black wheels yet though

back to the topic....under no circumstances should you get a black rim without a polished or silver lip

it looks stealth enough with the polished lip and rivets

the "all black" is crazy

Forgive me, but all black wheels on a silver car make it look like an RC car...

Anyone know how black with a silver lip rims would look on LeMans? Never even considered black rims until I read this thread.

RC car... lol ... more like you're running on some large spares.

Gunmetal or polished lip all the way, imo.

I dont know why people make such a big stink out of it.. its just a wheel. I have 2 sets of wheels, one set are gun-metal with polished lip.. the other ones are just flat-black and look like old-school Panasport or RS Watanabe's.

I get SO many mixed opinions its rediculous, some people like the bling bling polished/gunmetal wheels.. others like the simplicity of the black wheels. Both are identical size, just different appearance. Currently, I am running BOTH wheels, the black wheels are in the back while the polished/gunmetal wheels are in the front. Why? Because I completely tore through a pair of the tires, so I just threw on my spares since I had them in storage with tires mounted on them.

Ahh.. the joy of having multiple sets of wheels. Amazing, I *still* get tons of mixed opinions as to which wheels people like better. If you ask me, you have to chose what YOU like and go from there.
