5000K H11 HID Kit Review
I ordered a H11 5000K HID Conversion Kit for my 2005 Acura MDX and received it two days later. It came in an USPS Priority flat-rate envelope and there was another flat-rate envelope inside for added protection. The kit came in a white box.
The following items were inside the package: 2 Ballasts, 2 HID H11 bulbs, 2 Wire harness, 2 3M Double adhesive pads, wire ties, and instructions.
The instructions were easy to follow. It was a diagram showing how to connect the harnesses and bulbs to the car. Installation took about 25 minutes.
The hardest part was to find locations to house the right and left ballasts. Everything else was simple plug-and-play. The only problem I encountered was that I had to reverse the polarity on one of the ballasts.
The MDX has auto-highlights depending on the light condition. The feature still works after installing the HID headlights. I ordered the 5000K kit. It looks white from afar with a little hit of blue. Visibility is improved and the lights look great.
I would highly recommend this kit. Customer service is A+. Shipping via USPS Priority mail was extremely fast. For the price, it is worth the money!
Here are two night pictures. The fog lights are turned on in the second picture. As you can see, the HID headlights are whiter and brighter than the halogen fog lights.
