Default Footrest Lose

Is it me or is my footrest lose.. not sure if it is suppose to have some play in it.. Seems to have a bit of movement in the pedal...Is this a problem or shoud I tighten it up...

Remove the cover (5 screws I think) and there are fastners under the cover that attach it to the floor. Make certain that they are tight. If they are not, tighten them.
