i agree. if you are going to get an amuse front bumper or kit, go with shine. i got my amuse bumper from them a while back ago and it is still looking very good.

i was considering going to M1 to do the bumper but then i found someone else that did excellent work and closer to me. my friend that did my bumper told me that M1 doesn't do that great of a job. he said that if your just a walkin customer, they will try to get you in and out of the shop as quickly as possible and that is not in a good way. if they are good friends with you, then they will take care of you. in fact he had one customer bring in a g35 couple that needed to replace a bumper that was done by them, and he showed me the bumper and the color and paint was all chipped up and flaking off. the owner of the g35 told him that the bumper was done by M1. but luckily i found someone that does an excellent job on both my car and my honda ruckus.

M1 Auto sent me the wrong part, and it took about a month to get the right piece. I ordered veilside underwings for the sideskirts and got a veilside front lip instead. It was a hassle, and I called them about every other day, if not every day pestering the **** out of them to get things done. They kept saying it would ship out on xxx day, but I finally did get the under wings. Fitment was okay.

man that sucks; sorry to hear

who did you order from nexx? I know theyre pretty busy with the sale they have, so it might have to deal with speaking to the right person (Peter, I think their manager is busy) and I would say Eric was a good vendor with my transaction.

i ordered an amuse front from Eric@M1 and the transaction was smooth. Got the bumper in 2 weeks. I followed up with them every other day for any updates and with the time difference (east coast/west coast) Eric did a pretty good job communicating.
When I was test fitting, I had fitment issues, I called and Peter was able to help me out right away (removal of bumper guards).

Honestly, I think vendor experiences are different for everyone, for some its great, others horrible. It shouldn't throw off a prospect customer. There's one member (chris aka folkgrz) here who has seen my front bumper and I've gotten many compliments from others. I will be posting up soon.

^^ here is the thread i originally made without calling out m1.

https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-an...-delivery.html

the most frustrating part was that i wanted the hood for a photoshoot. i told Peter this and he assured me i would have it way before the photoshoot. i got it 2 weeks after the phootshoot had ended. i made sure they had one in stock to ship before placing the order too.

just read it

guess you gotta keep it stock now

off topic but- im loving your setup, saving up for turbo now (N/A tune will only give me 300+ whp for 3G's which isnt bad, but I'd rather put that aside for turbo). I have a ppw too and might go with nismo sides/ nismo rear w/ custom TS rear diffuser

Sorry to hear man.

It seems like with the economy as it is, and the auto industry being hit very hard; you'd figure that vendors would be bending over backwards to keep any business they get.

I was going to order a V2 bumper from them but read one too many reviews about M1 and how their follow-up customer service is poor. They seemed cool as hell when discussing pricing and what not... but I'm not willing to gamble.

Saving a little extra money and probably going to go with Sine Auto... they seem to be one of the only straight up companies anymore. Not to mention, M1 seems to take their good old time showing up in a thread made like this about their company... or they never mention anything at all. Whatever, it's their business... not mine.

Sorry to hear about your experience bro

Sorry to hear that your experience was less than expected, but I and countless others have been taken care of by Peter and team at M1.

Granted you should have been told a more realistic day to anticipate your items, but I don't think it warrranted the FTMFGDL.

I bought a bumper from them and was hit by a dumb soccer mom the night before I was to pickup the bumper. Peter sold me his OWN fender and painted it without me even paying a cent out of pocket. He himself even installed both the fender and bumper for me when the body shop was backed up to ensure I didn't wait too long for the parts.

Another time, they even helped me to wrap a carbon fiber lip and gave me a box to ship it in when I sold it to another member in Texas through Greyhound all without me spending a cent.

So have a few of you had bad experiences?, yes.

Has all their service been terrible with everyone? no not at all.

it took them almost two weeks to actually ship a hood they had in stock! that's right your reading comprehension fails you. its not the fact i got the hood much much later than i was told i would, it was the fact the damn thing sat in a warehouse for almost two weeks!!! a few of us? guess you havent been paying much attention to the numerous problems many of us have been having with M1. why was i promised a refund on the may 21st only to have the refund run on June 2nd? not sure if you run a business or not but it takes me all of 1 minute to run a refund on the CC machine not 2 weeks.

you sound like the 1 in 10 Megan product owner that sticks up for their products. sure you might have had good luck with them but that doesnt have the countless number of us who havent.

Everyone has their own experiences, I'm sorry yours was terrible.

Regardless of what I say it doesn't make up for the fact that they dropped the ball, but not EVERYONE had the same experience.
