Default Z issues

Hi everyone! I just picked up my 2005 Nissan 350Z from a dealer today. I'm so stoked about it and again hello everyone at the forum. I have one issue though. Does the 350Z driver side heat up as you drive the car? The inside of my cabin seems to get really warm as I drive for about 20 min. And the passenger side is completely fine. just the bottom of the footwell gets semi-warm / hot. Is this right or is there something wrong with my car?

Welcome and congratulations.

a. Yes. The cabin will get warm. If it 60 degrees outside, it is easy to keep the inside 70 degrees with the heat OFF.

b. There is a unique way to turn OFF all outside air. All ***** counter-clockwise. Center **** on RECYCLE.

Well a quick reply to you guys. Um the heat feels like it's coming from the engine and radiates into my footwell. An I can feel like warm air around my feet. I don't know if you guys have the same issue. But I'll try turning all the climate controls off to counterclockwise and put it on cycle. I'll keep you guys posted.

My 04 does that too, I just drive with the A/C on head/foot. I would like to know if it's a widespread issue.

The cats are right under you and your passenger's feet. All Z's do this. If you want, push some cool air down to your feet with the ac.

My 2006 roadster has the exact same issue. Is this supposed to be a common issue for all 350z's (coupes and roadsters)? Or is it more of a case by case issue?

??? I duno, ive never worn shoes while driving my z. then again i dont wear shoes anywhere, not even to work. hahaha I love the island.

deff turn the ***** to recycle, close vents. thats what i do. I turn the ac on once in a while to circulate fluids otherwise it'll rot out. Windows down and cruise your baby. enjoy her. if the cats get to warm, take them off.

Better fix the problem damn quick before the fall season starts to happen. HeaterZ are way over-rated in the cold weather.

Common to all 350's I think. It just bothers some of us more than others. I find it annoying.
