Default check out my paint quote...

I'm installing ings fenders. The shop is working on it right now, but they got me price quote for $550. They do prep/install/paint the fenders and repaint the both doors as well because the PPW color won't 100% match to original paint. (also i had half inch chips on passenger side, so they were going to reapint it anyway).

I was expecting about $300 just for the fenders, but they told me i had to repaint the doors because of the dings and paint chips. Also, they are going to blend in new colors on current paint...

does $550 is too much? or is it right price? also how about paint the roof in black for additional $230?

The quote for $550 for install, prep, paint and blending into the doors sounds like an excellent deal, as well as the $230 for the roof. If I were you I'd have them get to work on it ASAP b/c that's a he!l of a deal.

$550 for both doors sounds like a fantastic deal. I was quoted $400 per door...although it seemed like the paint shop I went to charged on average $400 per panel

I hope they do a awesome job blending PPW...sure isn't easy. If not you'll be having a mismatch door/side skirts from the rest of your body. But 550$ is a good deal.

550 is a great deal. I would think they will easily have that in just prep work for the fenders. You will have very noticable pin-holes in them if they don't do quality prep on them.... especially with PPW. IMHO if they are fixing up chips and repainting doors along with those fenders, I would have expected a higher quote than that..

The big question is, did they quote you this after seeing the fenders in person?

you can't evaluate if its a good deal, or a not so good deal till you see the work they do, and until they give you a full list of the materials they are using

OP whats the shops name? Has anyone on the Forums gotten work done from them? PPW is a PITA to match. Not only that but the paint shifts color slightly after a month or so after its FULLY cured. Let us know how it all works out!
