no, they weren't. those nissan add-on center lip pieces were not carbon fiber or a NISMO part. Evo-R makes one that is carbon fiber.

the one for the 03-05 was real carbon; the one for the 06 + is just a carbon type pattern

Z1, and I, are correct. And you are WRONG. Nissan used CF for 03-05 application. Oddly, for 06-08, a simulated CF material was used.
Yes, these are geniune Nissan OEM accessories. They are assigned Nissan part numbers, as they should.

Replicas are avail from Evo-R and 350zsource.com. Also, Charge$peed makes one, as well. I purchased a replica from one of the three mentioned, and it fit like shiat.
Where did you get your info?

Oh wow, I didn't know this existed as an actual part.
BTW, I would stay away from the Evo-R version, the one I purchased
awhile back had terrible fitment.

been talked about since the forum has been around. the JDM finisher piece was not real carbon fiber. now from the links provided it seems there are two different pieces; one real and one carbon fiber look. i did not know that one existed and only mentioned it because of the fake CF one.
