Default 07 model cloth seat wear

What up fellas, got my 07 a couple of weeks ago, I love this car, it has cloth seats and I prefer it that way, but on the driver seat the bolsters seem to have excessive wear for being 2 years old. I searched and only found 2003/2004 threads that mention a tsb for the 03 models. Nothing recent. Does anyone else have this issue with cloth seats on their 07/08 model, and have you been able to get this fixed under warranty? Any input highly appreciated....

Its from getting in and out and scraping ur *** against the bolster. Kinda seems like a wear and tear issue more then a defect. Couldn't hurt to try tho.

yea i got that too. i leaned my seat up more so when you get out it kinda makes you move your *** around that part it sucked at first but it's not so bad once you get used to it. still gonna prolly do some nice seat covers tho before it gets any worse

I have the exact same problem in my 08'. Its from sliding in and out. Lots of butt friction. I'd invest in a nice set covers if most of them weren't ricey and cheap.

+1, i have an 04 and it has much less wear on the bolster then the OP does. I do make it a point to not graze it when i get in a out of the Z.

No, I am not fat, just got the car 2 weeks ago, the prior owner must have been a fat a$$ though..........nontheless, even if your not fat I think the way the seat is designed you still gonna rub.....cloth seat on a $30k sports car shouldn't wear out that quick.....oh well, it's one con to so many pros on this car.....I'm still gonna try to get the dealership to fix it and I'll let you know how it goes.....
