350z headlights hid to non-hid
I have a 2003 Touring Z and my passenger side headlight got damaged in a n accident. The inside is all broken and the bulbs were working fine before but sine the inside was broken, moisture leaked in and damaged the bulbs or balast. I just want to sell the car so I am looking for the most cost efficient solution. My drivers side headlight is painted black on the inside so i will have to purchase another headlight and have it painted to match th eother one.
But...
What if I got a set of non-HID headlights from ebay like this one,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-06...Q5fAccessories .
Would I be able to just use those like plug and play or would some kind of modification need to be done?
Thanks for your help in advance.

You would be able to use the plug and play HID conversion kits, just make sure you specify the bulb that comes with the headlight, H7 for those ebay lights. Have a few problems though, I've bought projector lights off ebay and they have always been crap. Not for my Z, but for my Silverado, and I was always disappointed. Further, they always said NOT to put HID cause the excess heat from the bulb might melt the lens or something. Also those lights look like crap. Your best bet is looking for some lights off a wrecked Z, either from a junkyard or online. Try this website http://66.147.240.97/~certifk0/index.htm Honestly I think your best bet is either used or new from the dealer (expensive), but not that cheap ebay stuff.
