That Looks AWESOME!!!!What Kind of metal did you use? Also seems like the plastic one was used as a template for the metal one, is that correct?

I would like to see proof of the performance gained from a large wing on a Z with speeds under 100. I think there will be downforce provided, but minimal at best. Then apply said downforce to a proven gain in handling and speed and let me know.

Now if you gut your Z for weight impovement, thats a different story. A wing may then prove very functional for that much needed downforce.

For your purposes, i doubt you need a wing.
Tool! And yes, it will depend on my definition of tool. And you fit it.

Sorry I don't have proof to prove the wing thing to you, Expert. Nor do I have the time to search for you. But if I happen to stumble upon some evidence, I will be sure to post here just for you, Stud. Once you actually have had both, maybe you won't need me to prove it to you. Read and repeat on the internet. A plague of forums.

My purpose? I didn't think you knew my purpose, and I didn't think I mentioned what has been done to my Z. I would just like to finish this post with.... TOOL!(by my definition only)

That undertray looks like some plastic I have seen lining some kind of crates before. If that is what it is, that plastic should be pretty strong. I always wanted to do the same thing with some big sheets of aluminum. Maybe a project for the future.

Cheston - the undertray looks great! Is the material you used a honeycomb or corrugated aluminum sheet? Where did you buy it?

Any thoughts about putting a "hinged" window for easier access to the oil filter and drain plug?
