Below is the picture. I love the look of these as they are different then the typical rectangle like shape we're all acustomed to seeing. That said, why are they so expensive? Is it an entire bumper I'm paying for or just the 2 ducts seen here?
Bulletproof is selling them for $1,147 SEE HERE
z1 only wants $875 for them. Seen here
So what am I missing? Why are these so expensive?
-Are they held in w/ 3m tape? Cause I don't see any rivets which makes me think it's a bumper and not just the ducts we're payin for
-Does it come with that mines logo on the bumper? Can it be taken off?
I hope Z1 chimes in.

I'm gonna ask Z1 to chime in here. Hopefully he can also tell me how these amazingly priced ducts stay on the bumper cause I don't see any rivets in these pictures.

The pricing is for the ducts - they are intended to be installed into the stock bumper. The bumper shown is a stock 06-08 piece.
Why so expensive? The combination of being a full dry carbon piece, and a high end manufacturer. Mines has a longstanding reputation as a top shelf brand. The quality, and the price, are reflected as such. The equipment needed to produce such a part is not sold at your local Home Depot, and the skill and labor required to have it turn out like a Mines part should, and not some wannabe replica, is not cheap either. Is it expensive? Yep, it absolutely is. But, that's the nature of high end products, no matter what industry you're talking about.

I have personally seen many Mine's parts fresh from Japan
produced for the R35. Without a doubt they're the highest
quality CF parts I have ever seen. The finish is the BEST in
the industry, rivaling oe cf parts I have inspected from Ferrari
and Lamborghini. Edges, surface, and backing are all unique and
ridiculously perfect.
They're just expensive and hand-made, one piece at a time,
by the most skilled people available.

If you're that wealthy, why are you in a 350Z would be my quesiton to those rare few that have purchased such carbon pieces. I'm baffled they even make em if they are so expensive. You'd think if noone bought them they'd stop making them.
Off topic... Who would actually pay these prices?

It was a project they designed around the Japan spec 380RS, which was a ~$50k car when it was new.
Expensive parts are nothing new, no matter what platform, or vehicle

Because some people just like the car? and if they have the money to spend, then who cares?

is it really worth waiting for such "high end" parts more than 4-6 months??
