Bulb in Headlight - Stupid question..
I know this is a stupid question, but I just installed the 6K hids ( I have a base so wanted the upgrade ), but there is a small bulb that comes in from the side in the headlight im not sure what it is, when the headlights are on it is on and also when its just the running lights you could call it. It is yellow and kind of ruins the effect of the nice white headlights in there now, So i was wondering what is that bulb called, the size, or any websites or stores that would sell a bright white set of bulbs for it.
thanks guys! Justin

kidding aside, you were right. and yes, they sell replacement bulbs to 'clear' it out. so you will have no problem getting rid of that pesky color.
note: it is highly illegal to remove the amber colored bulb I believe, so you might want to check that out. I live in PA is why I mention it. clearing your side markers is also illegal I believe.

see this is why im confused though. in the headlight there is the projector, and the reflector lights up orange, but there is a small bulb that comes in from the side into the headlight with no cover or anything and its a yellowish color. Its not amber its just the OEM "white" that nasty yellowish color. Do you know what this bulb is called, the size of it or where i could possibly get a replacement. Maybe a link to a website?

and here is a front shot refernce to line this up. describe where in this picture the bulb is you are looking at:
top is turn signal, middle is high beam, bottom is low beam, to the outside bottom bulb is the parking light I believe or 'day time running light'.

there it is, the outside bottom bulb. the one to the left. i thought that the projector is the low beam and the bottom is the highbeam. so what part number is that?

yeah those are daytime running lights or parking lamps. it's illustrated in that diagram and the bulb number is identified. It seems like a standard size so you should be able to find different colors.
I really hate changing lightbulb colors so I can't tell you where to find them, but I would think Pep Boys - that bastion of tuning culture - would be able to help you.
