Default Anyone changing their steering wheel sometime soon

OK so it's been one of 'those days' and I've managed to rip the wires to the airbag plug from the hub

I can't find a UKDM wiring diagram and can't tell which way round to re solder them so I was hoping someone either knows or is planning on fitting a wheel soon and can take a pic for me! I know the USDM cars are slightly different (you have 2 plugs to the airbag?) but I was wondering if the colours might be the same?

Please?!

Pics:

DOH!!

There are strands of wire left so I know it's the two on the right but I want to make sure I get them wires the right way round for obvious reasons!

HELP

Just chance it, then test by ramming a wall.

I keed... That sucks man. Reason #1 (and only reason) I would never switch out my wheel... I like my face better than I like any aftermarket steering wheel.

the color of the wires is the same as yours but on my car the wires from the yellow plug are located on the left side of the big plug plug(4 wire)

Alex that would be very helpful and I would really appreciate it! If you could post a pic the same as my second one (with the plastic cover off and the black cable shroud pulled back so I can see the colours)that would be awesome!!! Cheers

i would think it wouldnt matter which one is which, since the airbag itself is just a resistance, which has no polarity. thats why you can fake it out with just a resistor in place.. when it wants to trigger it, it sends a voltage spike.

can you play CSI and try to see the different length of wires that ripped out and attempt to align it that way?

Thanks for that dude, I was kinda thinking the same but really didn't want to risk setting it off! How sure are you that it doesn't really matter which way round they are? lol.

Oh and yeah I've got all CSI over it but the wire strands stretched before they broke so it's really quite impossible to match them up

Cheers
