I love my 350zr but am very frustrated with the cheap interior. It is starting to look really bad especially the areas around the AC vents.
Any suggestions to correct this problem?

You could have the entire interior reupholstered with a different fabric if it bothers you that much.

 

That's my impression when i first had the car. Over time you will grow to like it. Do you have leather seat and stuff? That too makes a difference. You should have seen the interior of the corvette. Ours is better. Yeah, but if i were you, if something make me frustrated i would definitely do something about it.

 

Vettes interior is horrible, always has been.

It wouldnt suprise me if Nissan initially looked at the Vette for building a cost-effective sports car and thereby chose to go the same route as GM and save tons on the interior so that they could sell the body and engine at a reasonable price.

Trust me, 50k for a vette is a VERY reasonable price for what your getting.

 

I think the Driver and Pass. side dash material is ehhh okay...the center dash is whats really cheap. If you could have that wrapped in alcantara or leather im sure it will improve the looks a bit.

 

The 4LT on our '09 Vette makes a difference. Reminds me of the old leather packages on the 911...ours was a 78 targa car...loved the leather wrapped interior!

Wish Nissan would offer something along the lines of a leather wrapped dash and console.

Yeah but if they did all that to the interior the car would've been way more expensive at MSRP. G35 coupe had what you were lookin' for, but look how much those things cost....for less performance.

350Z Interior is better than most '03 cars' interiors. Especially the ones around the same price range. Look at the S2000, and you'll see what I mean.

sat in one while a friend went to check out one of there SUV's...I jumped in all happy and was sadly shocked by what was in there for 60k...

Anyways, the Z interior actually has a sweet design to it (sit in an Evo 8 or 9 for a year and you'll realize how lucky you have it with a Z lol) You can add a carbon fiber interior kit to enhance it. A nice shift **** will set it off too. That's what I would do for now. You can make new additions later but a CF kit is the best thing you can do for the interior of a Z

 

most sports cars will never make it on the list of nice interiors its not what they were built for plus it keeps the cost down. Think the z is bad look at the lotus its literally 2 seats next to each other a shifter and steering wheel. Sports car equals performance not luxury and comfort features. I do agree the z is a little bad much preferred the rx8 interior but it made the car cost effective and thats exactly why infiniti and the g35 was made.
