Default Racing Seats

I have searched and found a lot of what I am looking for regarding this but wanted to ask what guys my size were running in their cars. I'm 6' 3" and weigh about 180 with a 32/34 inch waist. What seats are people running in this size range? I am wanting to get into autox more and with me in my stock seats and helmet i'm hitting the roof of my car a lot. I just need something a little lower and was wondering what a broader range of people were running. Thanks.

Mods. If this is in the wrong section please move.

you'll essentially fit into almost anything, so first thing to set is a budget

I've got ASM Recaro's (how's this for a name - SRIII Limited II) in my own car, they have been absolutely fantastic

^ Great seats there.

I am pretty much your same exact height/weight. I decided i'm going with the Sparco R505's.

They look great, a mix between the Torinos (its newer Torino) and the Milanos, and i have seen VERY few people on here running them, if any.

They are reclineable, though, and a great price. If your looking for full bucket... Bride ftw.

Wow! I wish there was a place like that close to me so that I could test fit some seats. Lol.

The budget isn't the biggest of deals because I can always wait a little more and save a little more if it means that I can get a better seat for what I want. I've looked into Bride a lot but now that I see all of that Recaro action I may look into them a bit more and see about their seats. Thanks for all the responses guys.

IF you're in Houston, Pro-Am on Richmond Ave. has Recaro seats you can try out. They aren't the ASM ones, but it'll give you an idea. If I ever go to a car meet and your in town, I'd let you try out my Bride Zeta, they might be too high for someone your height, but you could always get the low max versions. I also have a Bride XAX in my passenger side you can try out.

I'm 6-4 215 - and the only bucket I tried that fit my 36+ waist was the cobra susuka wide. Great seat but a bear to fit in the Z properly. Modified a set of sparco rails to sit about a inch and a half lower w/ some custom brackets. I also heard the recaro profi XL would fit my profile, but no one had one in stock for me to try out and since I was right around the corner from Sube Sports, it was kind of a no brainer....

US Spec Recaro seats have nothing at all in common with the Euro spec ones, or the ASM ones. They are completely different dimension wise

Zeta III XL would also be a good choice for someone of your size if they are after a full bucket seat, and they have specific bases for them, that are made for only a few cars, the Z being one.

No sir, the one pictured is the R505, not Milano...(but you can barely tell )

It, my friend, only runs for 6 bills a pop.

^ Has killer seats.

Pro-Am is a good place to test the seats (i have before as well), just dont buy them from there...that place is a rip-off.
