Did you see the last post in the Top 100 Questions thread? It's pretty clear that different codes are different colors.

yea ... different paint code = different color

unless its a straight black .. but anyways

the colors are a good ways apart ... silverstone vs. carbon silver (light vs dark sorta)

just take the spoiler to a good local body shop and shouldn't cost too much right now b/c every dang body shop is hurting for money (I'm a painter at a big shop and I'm coming home lunch time every day )

they'll probably charge you 2 hours paint time if all they gotta do is scuff and shoot ..

so at $40 / hour for 2 paint and 2 labor .. that'll be about $160

and make sure you find out what paint they use b/c if its some cheap stuff that thing isnt going to match any better than the silverstone next to carbon silver

I painted my brothers 280z carbon silver like my 07z with some cheap sherwin williams paint and that color isn't anywhere close

we use Dupont Chrombase / Chromapremier and its been matching pretty darn good compared to Sherwins Ultra 7000 line ..

if you do end up getting it painted ... try to find a shop that uses PPG or Dupont .. try to stay away from SW unless you dont care that it matches
