Default Changing things up a bit!!

Have not posted in a while but i am changing things up a little bit on the Z. additions will be v2 front end, mastergrade TS rear diffuser, factory mud flaps removed, roof will be painted gloss black and carbon creations CF side splitters will be installed on stock side skirt panels as well as spddracing under tray installed. I have been contemplating the next mod for a little while now. should i reinstall my mastergrade CF hood painted to match " ultra yellow" or should i leave the stock hood on for a cleaner look? i can't decide!!! the attached pic with my CF hood installed is a older pic i have had. also the pic of my Z without all of the carbon installed and the stock hood on was from way back in the day (2005) what do you think? painted carbon hood installed or not.........Thanks!!

I like the look in your 5th picture the best, and I would prefer the stock hood over the hood in the 4th picture. The lines in the CF hood just don't seem to compliment the Z.

I think the V2 will look great. I've been debating. Just curious - how long does it take to remove the front bumper and difficulty?

i have had my front end off so many times i could do it with my eyes closed at this point. it takes me 15 minutes including jacking the car. difficulty level i would say is a 4 out of 10 for someone that has never done it before.

Your wheels look amazing, if I ever decide to replace my current ones, that's what I'll be getting.
Enkei's or Volks and what specs?

And yes, I love the way you car looks in the last pic.

I am sure alot of people will agree with me on this but i have relized that when modding theses cars you can get alittle caried away with the modding bug and not relize you are F'ing up a beautiful car to begin with. more is not always better!!! i have relized over the years i have owned this car that the initial mods i did made the z a bit sharper and individualized it apart from others but i feel i hit a point where i went alittle to far " apperance wise ". so now i have taken a steep back and am going to go back to my "ROOTS". having the z simple and clean again. BTW i am kicking myself in the *** now for installing the rear spoiler i have. i had to drill four holes in my hatch!!! i want it gone now but i do not want to deal with having the holes welded closed and the hatch repainted!!! FUC-KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!! I HATE MYSELF SOME TIMES!!!

Is it not possible to cover it up with a more elegant wing?

I think the carbon looked fine except your hood selection, that hood is ugly IMO.....

I prefer carbon over paint because scratches on paint show A LOT, scratches on carbon dont, and they are almost always buffable unless its like 1/4 deep... Carbon can be buffed to a great shine...

How are you attaching your CF side splitters to the side skirts? How far past the side skirt (inches) are you going to let them show?
