cloth vs leather seats?

IMO leather is the only way to ride. not just for the appearance but also for the "feel" of riding on leather. basically, it's preference on the driver and what he/she deems acceptable. i feel either way, it kind of serves the same purpose; you sit and drive!

I had them both. I a had a 05 enth and now I have an 08 touring. I must say the cloth seats make it seem like you are sitting much lower and really cup you in better then the leather seats do. But I also have to say the newer leather seats are better then the older ones that you used to get in the early model Z's. Also the leather makes the inside of your car much nicer looking. I like them both, you should get what you like. I think I might pick up a pair of cloth seats just to have them and switch it up once in a while.

depends on your preferences. all my cars before the z were cloth, stays a lot cooler in the summer time. its also more comfy. leather will look a lot nicer and cleaner, but at the same time it will heat up a lot more as well. i have black leather interior, and during the summer where it hits close to 115, it can get hot, but ive adjusted to putting a windshield sun shade and leaving the windows slightly open (i live and work in a fairly ok neighborhood, dont have to worry that much about the car getting jacket). the leather seats do come in handy in the winter when you have heated seats. but like everyone mentioned, get what you like.

Leather looks better hands down and you won't have to respond to your passengers when they inevitably comment, "what!!? your car doesn't have leather?!" This gets annoying.
Fortunately for me, I don't give a sheet what they think. I sat in a Z with the leather seats and really hated them, they just felt really thin, uncomfortable, and cheap to me. The cloth really holds you in the curves and I think they actually look really good for cloth (the '08s do at least, haven't seen other years). And I appreciate that they don't heat up in the summer, my other car has leather and it's really aggravating for some reason.

I had an 06 G coupe with stone leather last week, now I have an 08 Z with same color leather (the lighter kind). The leather in the Z is waaaay more durable than the G, mostly due to the design of the seats. The Z's leather is also less soft than the G's. I am very very happy with the leather seats in my Z. I feel they will last a long long time
