looking at this pic there is a fair gap between the right light and the hood as opposed to the left can this be normal or is this a sign of an accident? carfax carproof is clean 2008 ZR

Doesn't mean it hasn't been in a crash before. Might have just not been reported to insurance.

if so then probably wasnt in a serious one then? there are security engravings on lots of parts on this car, you can notice them on the headlights the light is still engraved and there is no record of rengraving from the company that engraved in the first place which does show up on carfax and carproof..

Looks off to me. That hood can be adjusted

Here are some pics of my car. It's an 04 and I hit a deer at 7000 miles.

This is after the body work, (hood front bumper replaced)

No gaps.

Did you buy from the dealer or private party?

Ah, I see. May have also been a slight bump, hitting something very slowly and moving it a little.

just noticed something on the carfax report in the reliability section... mechanical manufacturing and mechanical design are listed as below average anyone know what a ford or other american cars are rated as?

I would look for other telltale areas like the ones I have marked. And these seams look perfect.

the worst that happened is the previous owner scraped his bumper or ran into something at low speeds. He probably got the bumper repainted or replaced, nothing serious.

you get that replaced instead. seems not from the nissan!
the owner have have just tried to get the adjustments from a local party
