I have a 04.5 Black on Black my center console and driver door switch panel have some scratches i wanted to repaint them but cannot figure out exactly what color it would be to match the rest of the interior pieces? Does anyone know?

Its flat black paint.

 

+1 Works great, very good match.

After I painted and let it dry, I used a wet cotton tshirt and some polishing compound to smooth it out as it was a little rough to the touch.

 

Should the pieces on the center console with that dimple pattern not be sanded maybe steel wool scrubbed? and maybe a paint adhesive instead of a primer? to not fill in the pattern?

 

Duplicolor has a clear adhesion promotor, I used that and the paint has stayed on really well. I would recommend against any abrasive techniques that would be more intense than polishing compound and water.

 

True those parts scratch very easily i just finished the driver door switch panel with the duplicolor flat black looks perfect. After wet sanding out the scratches till the piece was smoothe layed 4 coats, once dried polishing compound and then armorall to seal it. looks identicle to other switch panel color! will post some pics soon.
