Carbon silver vs silverstone? How to tell difference?
How is it possible to find out for sure what type of silver my Z is? its 04 btw

04's are silverstone. IIRC carbon silver didn't start till '06

'04 also had Chrome Silver and the one-off color Liquid Aluminum, which was a $1k option. You can always check the sticker on the door jamb for the paint code.

On the back-passenger side of the firewall is a metal plate attached to it with the color code stamped in it.

Silverstone is more like gray than a bright metallic silver.

07+ are Carbon Silver. It's slightly darker then Silverstone, but Carbon Silver is def sexier.
